Adult Quilled Companions
Adult hedgehogs make excellent pets! In fact there are a few advantages to getting a mature hedgehog. First of all adult hedgehogs are not only less expensive, but they have finished quilling. Many quilling baby hedgehogs can be quite grumpy, possibly masking their true temperament. The adults' temperaments and habits are well known. In addition they are usually less stressed when moving to a new home. Adults can be a great choice for those who are new to hedgehogs and want to gain a little experience before taking home a hoglet.

Ruben is a medium sized active boy with a lot of personality. He is not a finicky eater and keeps a trim healthy weight through regular exercise. He is a bit of an escape artist, who would love a career in interior design, since he rearranges his cage nightly. He is a bit huffy when first disturbed during the day. His curious nature always wins out though as he quickly begins exploring his new surroundings.
