Waiting ListThe waiting lists are always fluctuating. Sometimes names move up or down the list because list members decide to wait for a certain color or gender, or their personal lives cause them to wait or even withdraw their name. Also litter size and success rate can vary. There are so many variables that it makes it hard to estimate wait time or quote exact places on the waiting list. I try to give new waiting list members an estimated wait time, but please remember this is only an estimate.
HOGLET WAITING LIST
Babies sell quickly! The waiting list is maintained through email on a first-come, first-serve basis. Waiting list members will have the first chance to reserve a baby before it is made available to the public. A $50 deposit will be required to hold a baby once one becomes available. I do not require a deposit until I have babies available. Hoglet prices usually range from $300 to $350, though individual prices vary depending on age, color, and sex. Exceptional temperaments and rare, unusual colors usually range from $375 to $450. Please contact me to put your name on the waiting list. I contact individual waiting list members when each litter is ready to find their new homes. This usually occurs when babies are between 3 and 4 weeks old, but it can vary with each litter. If I do not hear from list members after 3 contact attempts, then I will remove your name from the list. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to put your name back on the list, or if you are worried that I have not contacted you after a litter has been posted. Occasionally information is not transcribed correctly, and I have the wrong contact information. When your name comes up on the waiting list, I will contact you regarding an available hoglet. You have 48 hours to decide on the available baby and return my contact. There are usually people on the list after you who are also waiting to hear if they can adopt a little one. If I don't hear back within 48 hours, I begin to move down the waiting list. If you return my contact after 48 hours, I will be happy to keep your name on the waiting list. You may keep your position on the list, but you may loose out on an immediately available baby. ADULT HEDGEHOG WAITING LIST
A separate waiting list for adults is maintained through email on a first-come, first-serve basis. Waiting list members will have the first chance to reserve a retiring adult before it is made available to the public. Adult hedgehog prices vary from $50 to about $150 based on age and temperament. The average price is usually about $100. I will notify the list members when an adult(s) becomes available. List members will have 48 hours to respond to the notification. The member(s) the furthest up the list who want the available adult(s) will have the first option to adopt. We do not sell our hedgehogs for breeding purposes with the exception of trusted USDA licensed breeders. |
